The Final Conference will be devoted to dissemination of project's results to relevant stakeholders and the general public. After a welcoming message by Loretta Bravi, Regional Minister for Education, Training and Labour Market of the Marche Region, Mr Marin Miletic, from the Italy-Croatia CBC Programme Joint Secretariat will give insights about the Programme which founded the project, Italy-Croatia Cross-Border Cooperation Programme. Following, The Secretary General of the Adriatic Ionian Euroregion, partner of the BLUE KEP project, will illustrate the importance of the Blue Economy for the Adriatic Ionian area.

A session of presentations will provide an overview of the activities and results achieved, with the contribution of each project partner (Informest, coordinator of the project, Adriatic Ionian Euroregion, Istria Region, Marche Region, RERA SD for Coordination and Development of Split-Dalmatia Country and RRA Public Institutional Development Agency of the Sibenik-Knik Country). The session will focus on the preparatory and implementation activities foreseen in the BLUE KEP Exchange programme, which involved the teams of the 6 partners, 12 Italian and Croatian maritime and technical secondary schools, 43 teachers and 38 students, more than 20 local companies of the blue sector.

The second part of the Conference will be introduced by involved schools, which will show photos, videos and story-telling materials. After the story-telling session, a panel will take place to discuss about the blue economy skills from the view point of regional administrations, schools, companies and technical experts.

The Blue KEP project provided the 38 students from Italian and Croatian nautical and technical schools with an outstanding opportunity to take part in the BLUE KEP mobility programme, including a period of class-room training based on international modules created ad hoc and hands-on training at selected local companies. The Final Conference will be an occasion to celebrate these students, who will see their efforts awarded with a certificate stating the acquired ECVET credits.
